The Visiting Nurse Service of New York (VNSNY) is the largest not-for-profit home health care organization in the country. There are other organizations with the words "visiting nurse" in their name, but each one operates separately from the other. There is only one Visiting Nurse Service of New York. Who are we?
We’re 15,300 dedicated employees. We’re more than 2,600 nurses, with an average of 13 years experience in the field. We’re almost 520 rehabilitation therapists (physical therapists, occupational therapists and speech therapists), more than 8,700 home health aides, 575 social workers, and 130 other clinical professionals.
Founded in 1893, the Visiting Nurse Service of New York (VNSNY) is an integrated health provider for the most vulnerable New Yorkers when they need help the most. We deliver care to New Yorkers of all ages and all walks of life.
